PADI Advanced Scuba Diving Certification

GET ADVANCED SCUBA CERTIFIED IN SOUTH FLORIDA

Are you craving deeper more adventurous scuba diving? The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver class is a fantastic way to further your scuba diving skills and learn new ones! The class consists of five scuba dives in total. We aim to build on the knowledge and scuba skills that you already have while learning new ones on fun and exciting scuba dives.

YOU CHOOSE THE SCUBA DIVES

What’s really awesome about the Advanced course is that you can choose the dives you want to do! A Deep Dive and a Navigation Dive are required. After that, you have the option to choose Fish ID, Drift Dive, Underwater Photography, Search and Recovery, Wreck Dive, and more! We have lots of amazing dive sites of different types locally near Boynton Beach, Florida. Learn more about our amazing local diving here.

This class takes place over two or three days, depending on your schedule and conditions. Along with the dives you will complete a knowledge review for every dive that we do. 

WHY GET YOUR ADVANCED SCUBA CERTIFICATION?

The Advanced scuba course is one of the most fun and exciting scuba classes for any diver. Not only that, the Advanced scuba certification will allow you to dive in more challenging and remote locations across the world. Many resorts and liveaboards prefer or require divers to have at least an Advanced scuba certification, as it implies a certain level of skill and knowledge. We want to help you get there! “I had contacted Starfish Scuba in Boynton Beach about diving 3 days (the 2nd week of Nov) when we were meeting friends in the area that wanted to dive. It was really bad timing though as we were here when the King Tide happened that caused great surfing rolling waves but not conducive to small water craft. Chris discussed going to the Blue Heron Bridge but ultimately did not recommend as the visibility was not good, having to do with the King Tide. We did make it on the boat one day to Briney Breezes and Tumbled Rocks dives sites. I wish I had pictures to share of the boat as well as on the dives. There were lots of egg looking things rolling around and found out those were from turtles that had just hatched. Chris, Julia and Derick were fabulous. The waves were still pretty high but Chris is a very good captain and handled it well. Three of the four of us are new at diving so appreciated the attention from all the crew. We needed to rent an assortment of equipment which was in good shape. Derick was very attentive with all our different skill levels. The boat is clean and well taken care of. A very friendly bunch, they made recommendations of things to do and places to eat! I would definitely contact Starfish Scuba again when in the area.”
