Scuba Diving Classes in Sunny South Florida
What's Involved in a PADI Open Water Diver Course?
Knowledge Development: This portion of the PADI scuba diving certification course is done online and at your convenience. After this, we do a review and answer any initial questions that you might have. Then we go diving!
Confined Water: We run the confined water portion of the course in a local pool. Before jumping in, we get you geared up run through the equipment together. Next, we jump in and run through a series of simple underwater skills. No rush! We make sure you are having fun and feeling good about the skills.
Open Water: Now for the really fun part! We put those new scuba skills to use with two days of diving and four scuba dives in the ocean. On the first day, we do two shallow dives and practice skills while kicking around underwater. On day two we do two dives to 60ft! Bam, you are now a PADI-certified scuba diver!
